    Thumbs up Astroglide

For those that might be interested Astroglide is the best I have ever found for either use with a toy (yours or hers), or a actual encounter with a real lady (they love the ease of entry if they are a little dry or have gotten that way from prolonged play).

you can find it at Walmart or Walgreens next to the condoms. It is also condom friendly.

I am sure most other drug stores will have it as well.

I have never found any lube better, other than the natural one of course (grin).

Only thing I don't like about astroglide is that its freakin expensive...for lube that is. Also, I don't like getting weird looks when I buy it, so I have to get it...run to register, checkout and sprint out to saftey (I have paranoia about things like that). After this astro runs out I'm going to make my own with xanthan gum,GSE and H2o.

Why don't you shop online or go to a store that has the automated self-checkouts?

ha, that was when I first got my flesh light but now all I do is order personal items online. I quickly found out that the ID lube was just utter crap. I learned about astroglide and I told myself I wouldn't buy it in public...but I needed it badly so yeah..lol... Never again though...

I as a rule will select the pretties cashier person (a woman naturally) and put it on the product belt prominently and smile at her while she's ringing up the total. Life's a trip, you know, who knows where the twists in the road will lead

You know, Joe, that's a great idea. I think you just solved my embarrassment problem. At least if I can make some humor out of the situation, I can feel better about it.

Astroglide drys up too fast of what i can remember, but what the hell adding water to it didn't help much either.

I have to say that although it may seem less tense to purchase lube from a place that has a self-serve checkout system, it may still be a bit tense to actually get lube from the shelf and to put it in your shopping buggy. Many stores typically put lubes beside the condoms, which are in direct view of the pharmacist counter. Do you guys know what I mean? I now don't give a care about who sees me buying whatever, but I have to say that back when I was a teenager, I was so afraid to buy condoms and lubes. I really think stores should put condoms and lubes in a discreet location of the store. Why do stores have to put condoms and lubes right in the open?

Astroglide works pretty good for me too. I've tried a few other brands, but most of them don't really compare to it. After a little while it does tend to dry out a little bit, but usually not too bad.

silicon lubes are really hard to get off of the FL. They arent water solubale, so it takes a bit of scrubbing to get out. (speculation - I havent actually tried silicon lubes.)

Astroglide is a water-soluble lube, so no. Its not a silicon lubricant. But it is damned good!

Just a reminder that the Fleshjack website recommends against using silicon lubes on the inserts.....

Does it actually specify on the website to not use silicon lubes because of the cleanup? I think it has a little bit more to do than just clean up. ILF may have run a few tests, it is their product...

At the top of the lube page on the Fleshjack website, it says:

Please note we recommend using only water-based lubricants whenusing Fleshjack products. The use of other types of lubricants, such as oil or silicone-based, may deteriorate the Superskin Insert.

I don't think it says this anywhere on the Fleshlight website, but it does on Fleshjack.

Yes you are right. I got a free sample of Gun oil water based with my fleshjack today. I have the astro glide. I havent really compared them
yet but i will and post something in the lube section. By the way the FL
is the best 60 dollars i have spent recently . After i used the mouth and the ass I knew I had to get the endurance jack . I want to see what that will do for my cock If the smooth instert feels this good .then a textured insert is prob WOW!

When I was in highschool, I had to buy condoms for my friend that had the same "fears" as you. I told him once:

"If you can't buy these yourself, maybe you shouldn't be having sex."

    The same goes with lube.

Amen. It really isn't all about you, guys. Most of the checkers in stores are too busy to care what you're buying!

I bought a bottle of Astroglide about a week ago. Just picked it up with my other groceries. I don't really worry about things like that since most of the checkers have seen me there with my wife, and even if they hadn't... I really don't care if they think I'm doing something freaky. Well, the checker didn't even bat an eye as she rang it up and set it with my other groceries... but the 15 year old girl bagging my stuff turned BRIGHT red. I managed to keep smile on my face and not giggle at her until I got out the door. I told my wife when I got him and she laughed too.

    Ho ho ho. Awesome.

How about this, carry a thing of lube in your sleeve, and go to a restaurant where some jailbait is working. Then "accidentally" let the lube go flying and land on her side of the counter so that she has to retrieve it for you. Bonus points if some gets out of the bottle.

You just added meaning to my life.

Oh, I didn't do anything obvious to embarass the poor girl further. Just had to keep from laughing at how red she got from picking up the box and putting it in the bag.

I have tried ID Glide, Wet Light, and I like AstroGlide way better. I have had my WW insert for a year and a half and it has many tears on the inside. I used like 12 drops of wet light and then a little more and it is not as smooth as using 3 drops of astroglide + 1-2 drops more after it got dry.

I recently ordered the X-mas deal with the free case and cant wait for it to arrive.

Papdaddy - It is strongly recommended that you use lubricant when you use your Fleshlight.

Here is a quote from the Fleshlight.com FAQ:

What type of lubricants can I use with my Fleshlight?

We recommend the use of water-based lubricants only. Oil-based lubricants should NOT be used, since they will slowly destroy the Fleshlight material over time. Sleeves damaged by use of oil-based lubricants are not eligible for exchange or refund.
Read through the Discussion Board (Fleshlight Forum) to hear other users recommendations, but be advised that we only recommend the use of water-based lubricants.
Most current Forum Members seem to prefer Astroglide (which can purchased at your local pharmacy) or Gun OIl H20 (which can be purchased from Fleshlight.com).

Visit this link to see all the lubricants offered by Fleshlight.com.

    Papdaddy,
Keep in mind that you have to use some kind of "lubricant." Some guys use spit. But you really cannot enter the Fleshlight dry (although, believe it or not, one or two guys have tried to do that, and have been surprised at how hard it was!).

I'm guessing it'll be cheaper than buying it at a store. Hopefully, at least.
I dunno what it is about cheap lube, it just makes it so much better knowing you bought it at a good price.
