Exclamation How to keep your Fleshlight clean?

I got the Fleshlight's Fleshwash Antibacterial Spray and the Corn Starch, but the grey goop that builds up on the surface is hard to clean off. Tried rubbing alcohol, and the cotton ball sticks to the fleshlight making it more dirty...any ideas?
Is using too hot water going to damage the Fleshlight, do you use lukewarm or cold to wash it? My SIAC surface blisters and cracks after washing it in hot water. Corn starch at that point doesn't seem to help it regain it's like new texture.
How long does it take to air dry yours? does a hair dryer help? how often does it go into corn starch nap?

    Let's see...

1- Don't use cotton balls to clean the surface. The lint is going to stick everywhere (as you already know). If using anything to pat dry the surface, use a microfiber cloth or any lint-free cloth like the ones used to wipe CDs or glasses.

2- Use lukewarm / cold water to wash the FLs. Just open the faucet and put the opening under the running water for 30 - 60 seconds depending on the lube you use and the texture (smoother textures clean faster). repeat the process pouring water through the other end.

3- Apply cornstarch only after the exterior and the interior are completely dry. Usually air drying will take about 4 hours and in the case of complex textures up to 2 days. You can use a hair dryer to speed drying ONLY WITH COOL AIR setting.

4- I cornstarch my FLs if I am not using them for more than 2 weeks. When you cornstarch your FLs is mainly your own choice - some people never cornstarch them, others apply as soon they are dry.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll give this a try.

I like the new Fleshlight cleaner. It seems to get all the goop off my inserts. It also helped clean the sleeve. I don't usually have time to do a complete cleaning of my FLs. I usually just use water and dry them with a towel before I hide them in a plastic gun case.

Now that I have the Fleshlight Cleaner, I will clean them more thoroughly. And they won't get that chemical aroma.

    Happy Stroking!

I never use hot water. Warm or cool is what I use.

As for any buildup on the outside, I put some rubbing alcohol on the area and then rub that around to loosen it. Then I rinse it with water and that usually gets most of it off. If not, I take corn starch and rub in circles over that area lightly. I wash the starch off and if necessary repeat. Finally I starch that area to prevent any further buildup when I store the sleeve in its case.

iso alcohol seems to do a pretty good job, 70% or above

Eradicates any discoloration or smells for me by plugging one end with a finger and pouring it in, shaking it about for 60 seconds

How To Clean and Dry The Fleshlight Sleeve and Case

When done using the Fleshlight, remove the sleeve from the case

Rinse the sleeve with warm water inside and out

Do not use any kind of soap as this can degrade the sleeve material

Turn plastic file crate upside down and hang sleeve vertically to dry through any of the 28 holes on top of the crate

Rinse case and caps in warm water and lay case upright in a bowl to dry

Plastic file crate available from Office Max or office supply store $6.99

If desired, you can spray through the top of the sleeve with isopropyl alcohol from drug store for additional cleaning

Fill spray bottle with 3 parts isopropyl alcohol and 1 part water

Sleeve is dry in 1 or 2 days depending on air temperature and humidity

You can speed up drying with an electric hair dryer

Mold can develop if sleeve is not completely dry

For removing spots on the sleeve, rub the spots repeatedly with corn starch and then rinse with water

Store completely dry sleeve in FL case with both caps completely screwed on

keeping it clean is not a problem... warm water ... desinfection spray ...done

BUT getting it DRY inside is the problem. Especially for the Stoya Destroya...sometimes it is wet inside after 2-3 days !!! o:O

That actually sucks, cos' it's not really sanitary... maybe i will try it with a hair dryer... not sure if heat is good for the newer FL materials (like Stoya ones) ...the material is really soft and maybe gets damaged

Guys, just sit your FL on a normal house fan that you have pointing toward the ceiling. Your FL will be dry on about 30 mins, an hour tops. There is no reason to have your FL wet for days!
