    Question Cleaning a FleshJack dildo.

I bought the Pierre Fitch dick recently, and I'm looking for tips on how best to clean it, more specifically how to remove undesirable odours.

It's a long dildo, it goes in deep, and to be blunt it encountered poop. I tried the suggested method of washing it with antibacterial handsoap and water, I even tried spraying on specialist sex toy cleaner, but to no avail, the odour still lingers.

Does anyone know some safe ways I can clean it, which will remove the odour but not damage it in any way? Out of curiosity, is it dishwasher safe?

    Thanks in advance.

Most soaps do not work well with sex toys. The Oils in the soap eat the surface of the toy(s). I use shampoo on my anal toys when I am in the shower and then use toy cleaner as soon as I done. Due to the area of enjoyment, leaving toys like that exposed to the "mess" for long periods of time make it harder to clean and harder to remove any smells. Long story short, clean it after.

Since it's made of platinum silicone, you can put it in hot temperatures for a thorough cleaning. Let it soak for a bit then rub with a mild, scented soap. This should do the trick. You can also dip in isopropyl alcohol then rinse with water after. This should help remove any odors.

If you have a dishwasher, this can also be a good way to clean and disinfect sex toys. Most dishwashers have a "sanitize" or "steam dry" setting. When run at this setting, the dishwasher fills with hot steam at the end of the wash cycle. This is as effective as boiling the toy in hot water for several minutes -- probably more effective since steam contains more latent heat. It's convenient, easy and effective. It also takes care of the smell.

This is how I clean all my anal toys. Check the material. The flashlight definitely can't handle this treatment. But a silicone anal toy should be okay. Also, do not use detergent. Dish washer detergents are very very very abrasive and will damage your toy.

As to whether you wash your dishes with the sex toy, that's up to you. The dishwasher should disinfect everything. So in theory it's okay; and certainly more energy efficient. But I can't bring myself to do it.

How in the hell did you manage to get one of these things inside you? I have the Bret Everett and I cannot even get it in me a little. :^/

For cleaning, I'd echo what has already been said:

    1) Clean your toy as quickly as you can. The longer you let the poo stay on the dildo the better the chance of the smell penetrating. A quick rinse with warm water afterwards should do the trick...even if it's just dipping it in a bowl of water you have near by.

    2) Use a soap that doesn't break down your toy.

    3) The hotter the water, the better the clean. You can try boiling a pot of water, taking the pot of the stove, letting the water cool for maybe a minute so it isn't boiling hot but still much hotter than your tap water, and letting your toy sit for a moment.

    4) Alcohol rub down at the end should keep everything fresh and clean.

And if you find that cleaning is a trouble for you, you could always just put a condom on the dildo before you use it.

To clean my dildos, vibrators, and anal beads, after use, I take a big plastic cup and put several squirts of antibacterial handsoap in it. Then I put several squirts of Germ-x into it. Then fill the cup with scalding hot water to let it suds up. Then I place my toys in it and let sit for a few hours. Then a good rinsing of each with the antibacterial soap again. Let dry and wrap them all in a towel until my next session. Granted, DON"T use this method on your Fleshie. Also if using something battery operated make sure the end with the battery opening is above the water. My toys aren't the "jelly" kind so this may not be so good for all toys.

Alcohol bath and rinse then leave out to air dry, that should take care of it. For future reference cleaning it/sex toys right after use.
