So this is in its infancy, but with all the murmurs of Nina Hartley in the pipeline. I have often wondered about the viability of a line of Classic Pornstars. I mentioned something like this a while ago, but really, I think this could be a neat area to explore.
There are plenty of older models who were once active in porn, and who since have semi-retired, and don't normally shoot porn anymore. Many of these girls however, still appear at conventions and interact on web sites and do cam shows, so a lot of them, it seems, don't mind getting naked and letting people see their vaginas (for lack of a better phrase). 99.9999% of their fans however, would never get the chance to be with them, even on a porn set. Fleshlight could possibly exploit this as a chance to "get inside your first fantasy", and market a product to the older (and younger) generation that also fantasize about these girls.
Off the top of my head, you could also do:
Vanessa Del Rio (still shooting for her site)
(A smart thing to do would be to get in contact with the older, retired stars and see if they would do it. I'm not sure who else that would be? Surely you could get two or three though.)
or, for a somewhat younger buyer, the myriad 90s girls, like Jill Kelly, Jenna Jameson, Nikita Denise. You could even split them off and do a line of recently retired girls like them, and have a true classics line of girls from the 1970s and 80s.
I think the key here would be to test the idea with two to three models, preferably with a signature texture, available outside of normal ILF channels, able to reach fans of vintage porn. They could be sold in all the online markets, and also hyped on vintage boards and forums. There are guys out there who spend a ton of money on classic porn stuff, and I'm thinking it would be an interesting opportunity to attract some new buyers.
At the same time, the Fleshlight whores on here would buy it anyway because of the new texture-- a win-win.
Before anyone on the forum bashes the idea "because they're old", try to think: How many people really know who a given girl is? Most of the current Fleshlight Girls are not hugely popular (yes, some are, I know), yet somebody must be buying them. Hell, I'm pretty aware of modern porn, but I'll freely admit that I don't know enough about half of the girls on the site to blind buy a molded sex toy from them. The girls from twenty or thirty years ago (remember, twenty years ago is now 1992) have a lot of fans, because the industry was smaller and slower, so girls stayed in fans minds.
I will say one thing though: I'm not sure Nina Hartley is the appropriate litmus test for the idea. It's great if/that she will get a Fleshlight, but she is very overexposed right now, and obviously has a broader appeal than most other stars of classic porn.
